I have always appreciated nature and truly enjoy the outdoors. Can thank my parents for instilling that appreciation. Been a birdwatcher all my life but not a serious birder or Ebird user until I retired in 2018.  Hopefully I can excite my grandson into following me around looking for our avian friends. 

Other than a couple of very short stints out of the province (BC and Ontario) I have lived here all my life and feel very fortunate to have done so. No target numbers for birds; just want to continue to grow as a birder and birding ambassador. 

Have been fortunate to have been mentored by some great birders and am always looking for opportunities to share what I have learned with folks and give back.
