Sarah is a keen birder and photographer. She lives near New Minas with her husband, Alex, and a variety of pets. Sarah has always been interested in birds, but really began to take notice of the diversity of species in NS around 2015 after she joined the NSBS Facebook page. Since then birding has developed into an obsession with bird photography following close behind. She can often be found in the field with camera slung over one shoulder and binoculars over the other.
Sarah has been regularly logging birds on eBird for a few years now and recently got into bugs (particularly Dragonflies) on iNaturalist too. She started helping with the Wolfville Christmas Bird Count in 2020 and is currently the secretary for the NSBS.
