Kyle grew up on the Eastern shore in East Chezzetcook and always enthusiastic and curious about birds growing up, ducks in particular. Always having a passion for photography which reaches from birds to wildlife to travelling. When we combine our hobbies and interest, we can experience the most enjoyment possible from life. Kyle joined the NSBS as a member in 2012 and more recently e-bird in 2021, striving to experience all of the great birds in Nova Scotia and while travelling abroad.

When Kyle is not working in the Insurance Industry, he spends most of his spare time on the weekends, birding as his favourite past time passion. With our little Band of Birders (Lori Buhlman, Natalie Bishop Barkhouse and Wayne Greene), we can often be found exploring all corners of this beautiful province to experience new places, observe new species and meet fellow birders along the way.
