Waiting in the Wings: How Dinosaurs Gave Rise to Birds
Birds are the most successful land vertebrates today, thanks to dinosaurs. We know dinosaurs are the ancestors of birds by the traits they share. Many features of the bird’s skeleton, eggs, and integument (feathers) had their origins among dinosaurs.
In this talk, I explore evidence of the relationship between dinosaurs and birds, focussing on research projects that I have been involved in over the years.
