54 Years of Birding Travels
Join us to on zoom for a wonderful presentation by Richard Stern, "I will be giving an account of some of the memorable trips I have been on, in several parts of the world, and include pictures of birds, places and people."
About the speaker:
I started birding in the UK about 55 years ago, and it has always been a reason to travel. Every new place is like being a new birder. For years I was a busy specialist physician and could never take lengthy vacations, but travel has always been important to me.
I started life in Canada in northern Newfoundland in 1977. I live in Kentville now, and my wife Liz often comes with me on birding trips. Friendships, new cultures and places, interesting food, and bird and other photography on my travels have always been as important as getting new "lifers".
Meeting will be held online via zoom.
